The introductory course in computers and information systems is an ideal time to provide students with the opportunity to apply what they have learned. There are two ways that this can be done. First, cases can be used to illustrate how concepts and skills can be applied to realistic settings; second, students can be given hands on computer exercises involving word processing, spreadsheets, and data management. This Casebook does both. It is designed to be used as a suplement and complement to existing introductory textbooks.
